Different Seasons

Sleeping half-moon

Conceived in a moment, struggled in innocence

A life to nurture, intelligence nature dependent

A daily grapple for social, emotional conformance

Spring’s energy abound as growth bearing independence

Summer time to strike out, work-life odysseys

A calling, social fabric to fit, family the seed

Hopeful teamwork harmony grinds a fruitful journey

Poised tempered angst, searing heat reprieve we seek

As autumn approaches, hasten drastic physical changes

Mental plateaus deluge, befits ever growing burden

Full color spectra, nature proffered crisps and arranges

Hand in hand we’ll share and contemplate nature’s abundance

Aware winter’s white purity and cold calmness will fill the days

Amidst heavy torrents and night piercing cold blitzing winds bite

Gentile companionship in warm comfort, acceptance the way

Together we step and snuff, in bliss, tranquility and light Star
